Extensions

Most houses around here were not built for how people live now. An extension is usually the cheapest way to get the space you want without moving, and it adds value that stays with the property.

We take it from groundwork through to handover: foundations and drainage, structural openings with steels sized by an engineer, brick and blockwork, roof, glazing, first and second fix, plaster and decoration. Building control gets involved at the right stages, not as an afterthought.

• Foundations, drainage and groundwork, including drain diversions
• Brickwork and blockwork matched to the existing house

• Full internal fit-out and decoration once the shell is closed

New builds

We also take on complete residential builds, coordinated from groundwork and structure through to finishes and final handover. That means running the trades, the materials and the programme as one job rather than a series of disconnected visits.

Working with drawings and approvals

If you already have architect drawings and planning permission, we price from them. If you do not, we can tell you early whether what you want is likely to fall under permitted development or need a full application — and put you in touch with people who do that work properly.

We are not the right firm if you want the cheapest number on the street. Structural work done badly costs more to put right than it cost to build, and we would rather lose the job than do it that way.
